Emily has taught music to children and adults in English and French for over fifteen years in classroom, workshops, and at the Georgia Strait Music Camp and Songroots Summer camp. She's coming back to teach at Songroots' "Big Sing" weekend this summer as is co-leading the Sing Smithers Festival of Voices this May with Karla Mundy. Emily's areas of expertise include vocal improv, French Canadian repertoire, Eastern European and Balkan singing, rhythm play and precision, and body percussion.
